About the conference:

UPMC Center for High-Value Health Care and the Wolff Center at UPMC will host patients, providers, and other stakeholders in a daylong discussion of the opportunities and challenges of creating “learning health system” models. Attendees will hear from health care industry experts, enjoy a luncheon keynote address by PCORI Executive Director Joe V. Selby, and participate in an engaging workgroup session.

Results from conference discussions will inform a strategic roadmap for promoting stakeholder-driven PCOR/CER in health systems in the near-term and transforming those systems to learning models over time. We look forward to facilitating the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and perspectives of patients, providers, payers, and other key health care stakeholders.

This conference is partially funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (EAIN-12035).
